In the coming weeks I am going to post various ways to get the most out of the app. By providing this info I am showing you ways to get the most out of the coin app. This is being provided as advice and can't held responsible on how you apply this information in real world scenarios. Get ready to learn from these articles and hope you enjoy reading them.
ABOUT COIN
Today we are going to go over Geomining as this is where you can earn the most out of the COIN app. Geomining is when you are actively telling the COIN app that you was at this specific location at that specific time using GPS which is validated as true data. This is true data because you are using the XYO services which uses special protocols to validate your location (which is anonymously captured) that is also very difficult to spoof the GPS. This allows the system to gain data that can be valuable to XYO and the customer. By providing this data you can earn rewards. These rewards can be given in either XYO or COIN but today we are going to talk about COIN.
What is COIN currency? This is the in-app currency the COIN app uses. This currency is not Crypto and only holds value just for the COIN app. Before you say "Okay, why should I put in all the hard work for a currency only used for COIN" let's go into detail what COIN currency can be used for. The purpose of COIN currency is to be used in the in-app store located in the COIN app. As of June 13th 2020 you can redeem COIN for the following items.
How do I earn COIN?
COIN can only be earned in the COIN app by actively mining tiles which is the small squares you see on the map. Below is an example of a tile (blue square).

Every location on the map will have its own specific tile that is dedicated for that area.
When you are mining these tiles they will turn to a darker blue color. When this happens it locks the tile for a specific time before going back to the light blue color. When locked you can't mine again until that tile has auto cleared on its own or you can clear it back completing a mini-game. The timeframe for auto clearing is different based on the type of subscription you may have signed up for. We will go into what subscriptions are in another article in the coming weeks. Did I hear you say something about Mini-Games? Mini-Games in the COIN app is a type of game you can play to allow you to clear tiles at a faster rate. Each game can have its own difficulty level to make the mini-game easy or hard to play. This logic is also known as Proof of Work in the Crypto world. Proof of Work is basically a way for you to validate data which requires some type of action to earn the reward. In our case we are playing a mini-game to clear a tile in which you want to validate again to earn you a reward. You can repeat playing the Mini-Games as much as you want until you have reached the daily limit for playing mini-games.
What is the best way to earn COIN at a faster rate?
To earn COIN at a faster rate it is best to mine while moving and as well carrying a SentinelX with you. Using this combination will allow you to keep mining different tiles without the need of having to clear tiles. Playing mini-games is one way to earn COIN at a faster rate because you don't have to wait for the tile to clear when you are mining the same location.
Wait... What about the SentinelX? This is a physical device you can place anywhere or carry. While these SentinelX's are powered on and within range of your COIN app account you will earn 12x rewards but wait as you can only use 1 SentinelX at a time to mine COIN. You can purchase more SentinelX's if you wish as you can earn an additional 10% when you use the Sentinel Sharing feature in the COIN app. We will talk about this feature in a different article but to keep it short this feature allows you to share out sentinels between yourself or others. When another coin account comes in range of your SentinelX you can earn the additional 10% from what they mine.
With paid subscriptions you can also earn COIN at a faster rate because with each plan you can mine at a faster rate. Each plan has its own perks when mining or using some other features in the COIN app. They're a lot of features in the COIN app that has its own perks. All these features will be talked about I'm the coming weeks.
What is Mini-Games?
As mentioned above playing mini-games is a form of clearing a tile by playing games built into the COIN app. When cleared you can mine the tile again.
Here is an example of mining while clearing tiles by playing the mini-games.
