How to use Coolwallet S with Coin app

Did you know you can transfer XYO to the Coolwallet S? It's as simple as enabling XYO in the settings of the CoolBitX app and sending XYO to the wallet.

How to activate XYO (ERC20 token) on CoolWallet S and App

The XY Oracle cryptocurrency is an ERC20 token that you’ll have to manually add in “Setting(s)”, but luckily it only takes a few seconds. Here’s how:

1. Go to Settings>Currency>Coin Display (remember to scroll down).

2. In Coin Display, scroll down and toggle the “XYO- XY Oracle” button to yellow (activated).

3. Press the back key and return to the Wallet section. You should now see also see the XY Oracle ticker if you scroll down to the bottom.

Items you will need:

1. Recovery seed card for Coolwallet S. This will be the card you previously used to write down your recovery seed.

2. CoolBitX app (Not needed for instructions but required if you want to use your Coolwallet S with Coin app)

3. Trust Wallet app

Instructions to link Coolwallet S to Coin app

1. To start things off you will need to decode your recovery seed card. Currently you have a number phase seed. You will need to decode the recovery seed into a word phase. To do this you will need to use the word list decode list. Make sure to decode each set of numbers to matching word. Once you have done this continue to next step.

2. Launch Trust Wallet app and add a new wallet. Make sure to select "I already have a wallet".

3. Select Multi-Coin Wallet.

4. Input your recovery word list decoded from step 1. Make sure each word is spaced from each other.

5. Tap "Import".

6. If all goes well you should see all your assets listed in the Trust app under the wallet you just created. Next, you are ready to link created wallet in trust to Coin app.

7. Tap "DApps" (Make sure you are still on the wallet you created).

8. Type in https://my.coinapp.co/verify in the address bar in "DApps" and navigate to the site by pressing the enter key.

9. You might get prompted to log into your coin account. Please do so and continue with next step.

10. Now you should be able to see the Verify New Address page. On this page you will need to tap the "Sign" button.

11. Answer the popup message "Sign Message" by tapping on "OK". If all goes well you should receive the "You successfully verified ownership of...".

12. Tap "OK".

13. You have now validated your Coolwallet S account with your Coin account. You should see both your ETH and XYO balance from your Coolwallet S account in your CoolBitX app.

14. You can now go into your Coin app and validate your Coolwallet S account under HODL Rewards.

15. THIS STEP IS RECOMMENDED: Go back into your Trust Wallet app and delete the wallet you created. This will remove any possible risks if for any reason your trust account would be hacked or untrusted source gets their hands on your account. Make sure you are deleting the correct account.

16. You are now finished and ready to use your Coolwallet S with the Coin app and use the CoolBitX app to send/receive XYO and ETH tokens or any other assets you may have.
